Southern Crosse was founded in 2000 on the principle of leveraging unique, high-quality, high-value wines from appellations around the world in order to bring a new level of diversity to the highly sought after U.S. consumer market. We have since expanded to also focus on export and domestic opportunities with U.S. wineries.

We manage a highly selective portfolio of wines, selecting only wines of the utmost quality and value and suppliers who understand and support our overall philosophy for success. We recognize the construct of our portfolio is critical, and therefore relentlessly focus on striking a balance of volume-oriented brands along with more specialized products, each appealing to a non-conflicting market segment to enable maximum branding building and positioning.

Southern Crosse was the first importer of Mexican and Uruguayan wines in Washington state, and now offers Mexican, Uruguayan and Argentine wines across the country. Its wines include:

  • Four award-winning wines from Chateau Camou from the Baja California region of Mexico, a wine producer praised by Robert Mondavi for their wine production techniques. Chateau Camou wines include Zinfindel, Blanc de Blanc, Fume Blanc, and a notable Bordeaux-style Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot blend.
  • Six award-winning wines from Uruguayan wineries, including Castel Pujol which recently celebrated its 250-year anniversary as it has been producing premium wine since 1752. Other Uruguay wineries include Leonardo Falcone, Cerro Chapeu and J. Carrau. Uruguayan varietals include Tannat, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay.
  • Three award-winning wines from Argentina, featuring these notable varietals: Malbec, Bonarda and Sauvignon Blanc/Chardonnay.

In addition to its import activities, Southern Crosse also provides U.S. wine export services, as well as marketing services for wineries worldwide.
